Privacy Policy

What we collect, how we use it, and the safeguards that keep your personal information private and secure.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and password when you register an account; athlete profile details (bio, location, disciplines, social links); race reviews and submissions; and saved races in your "My Season". We also collect limited technical data automatically, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to operate and secure the Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to operate the directory, display athlete profiles and reviews, process race submissions, send account-related notifications, analyze usage trends, and prevent abuse. Race listings are aggregated from public official sources and user submissions for editorial purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Security

Personally identifiable information is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and backend services on a least-privilege basis. Authentication tokens are issued server-side and never exposed in URLs. We do not store payment card numbers on our servers. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to keep PII unavailable to unauthorized parties.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Site (such as hosting and email delivery), under contractual obligations to protect it. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights. Public content you publish — athlete profiles, reviews, and race submissions — is visible to other users by design.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and collect aggregate analytics. Analytics help us understand how the directory is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features.

6. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us. Where applicable, you have rights under data protection laws, including the right to object to processing or withdraw consent. You can delete your account and associated content at any time. We respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

7. International Users

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the US, your information is processed in the US and you consent to that transfer. We aim to provide protections consistent with this policy regardless of your location.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Contact Us

Questions about this Privacy Policy or your data can be sent through our Contact page. We will address concerns promptly and transparently.
