We collect race listings, user-submitted event details, athlete profiles, race reviews, and account information solely to operate and improve the directory. Race data is aggregated from public official sources and user submissions for editorial and informational purposes. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Submitted race entries are reviewed by our editorial team before publication, and we may reject or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, or violate these terms.

Personally identifiable information (PII) — such as your name, email address, and account credentials — is stored using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to PII is restricted to authorized platform personnel and backend services on a strict least-privilege basis. Authentication tokens are issued server-side and never exposed in URLs. We do not store payment card numbers on our servers. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to keep PII unavailable to unauthorized parties and to prevent interception, tampering, or exfiltration by malicious actors.

You may use the Site to discover races, save events to your personal season, submit event listings, and publish athlete profiles and reviews. You may not scrape, bulk-download, or republish our directory for commercial gain without permission; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account; submit false or infringing content; or use the Site to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful material. Violations may result in content removal and account termination.

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant The Kinetic Chronicle a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and adapt it within the Site. You are responsible for ensuring your submissions are accurate and do not infringe third-party rights. We may edit, remove, or refuse to publish any submission at our discretion.

The Site links to external race organizers and registration platforms. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Race details are aggregated for convenience; always confirm specifics with the official organizer before registering or traveling. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Where applicable, you have rights under data protection laws such as the right to object to processing or to withdraw consent. We respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from your use of the Site shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in full effect.
